As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the transition of ML models from prototypes to production at scale. You will partner with data scientists, MLOps engineers, and product teams to develop high-performance, scalable ML solutions ensuring reliability in production environments.

You will be responsible for building ML pipelines, optimizing model deployment, tracking model performance, and automating retraining workflows. Your role will also involve evaluating new ML tools and frameworks to keep Harness on the frontier of ML infrastructure innovation. Sharing knowledge and following best practices is crucial in fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Technical Skills:

Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, MLOps (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow), Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, SageMaker, Vertex AI), Distributed Computing (Spark, Dask), SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), Model Deployment, Monitoring, Automated Retraining

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
  • 5+ years in machine learning or software engineering with significant ML project experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks
  • Experience in CI/CD for ML models and container orchestration
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms with managed ML services
  • Familiarity with distributed data processing and SQL query tuning
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environment and eagerness to learn new tech
